Hi, my name is Charlotte. About 15 years ago, I established Charlotte Hunt Osteopaths in Coulsdon. Our location is on the Surrey/South London border, a 30-minute train ride to/from London.
We seek a part-time, self-employed osteopath to join our busy team. One of our osteopaths has left the area. Sadly, we must turn away acute new patients as our current diary load is always full, which is very upsetting.
Therefore, the job is available immediately and would suit a candidate with at least one year of experience. Alternatively, a new graduate with previous clinical experience would be ideal. The candidate should be happy to work independently, but friendly informal chats or more structured mentoring are available. In addition, there are regular clinic meetings with CPD skills development.

The practice is based within a multidisciplinary clinic on the main high street. It is a 5-minute walk from Coulsdon Town and a 10-minute walk from Coulsdon South Rail stations. So we are easy to find. Excellent cross-referral links and relationships exist with local sports/health professionals and community groups.
We treat many generations of families and see many patients. These include babies, children, pregnant/postnatal mums, manual workers, office workers, amateur sportspeople of all ages, and retired people. We also see a variety of presentations, including osteoarthritis, EDS/Hypermobility, MS, RA, osteoporosis, and postoperative rehab.
The role has flexibility in days, with at least 2-3 AM/PM sessions available from Thursday to Saturday. Further opportunities will potentially be available in the future.
We have a reception service, an online patient diary/notes management system, and an online exercise prescription software programme.
Furthermore, we are welcoming, like-minded, caring, and enthusiastic osteopaths who aspire to provide proper osteopathic care to our local community.
You would need good structural and soft tissue skills, with cranial skills being very beneficial. A bonus would be if you are currently undertaking dry needling/taping courses.
You must also be keen and motivated. You will demonstrate the ability to develop and grow your patient list.
