Osteopath Coulsdon

Osteopath Coulsdon

Osteopath Coulsdon can provide a solution if you struggle with pain and immobility. Furthermore, do you hope it will go away? Are you unable to do what you enjoy? Is your pain affecting your sleep or ability to exercise? Are you wondering if the Osteopath Coulsdon and Osteopath Farnham Clinics could help you?

At Charlotte’s Coulsdon Osteopathic Clinic, we understand the importance of convenience. We offer two osteopathic clinic locations in Surrey: Osteopath Coulsdon and Osteopath Farnham. Whether in Coulsdon or Farnham, we’re here to help you get back to doing what you enjoy, no matter your symptoms.

Charlotte established her practice 15 years ago. Previously, she worked in a Harley Street clinic for seven years. She and her highly trained and experienced osteopath team treat all muscle aches and joint pains. These can be from your head to your fingers and toes. A broad range of tailored, gentle, and holistic techniques help patients of all ages. Moreover, these include babies to your family’s most senior members. We treat more recent or longer-term pain regularly in the clinic.

Treatment focused specifically on you.

Furthermore, our osteopaths have helped many patients with pain symptoms. These include back pain, sciatica, trapped nerves, neck pain and stiffness, frozen shoulder, and knee and hip pains. We also see repetitive strain and problems arising from sporting injuries, pain from bursitis, disc bulges, tendinopathy/tendonitis, and headaches. Moreover, we frequently see patients with pelvic girdle dysfunction. We also see other pregnancy and postnatal-related pains. Babies will also benefit from gentle cranial techniques that ease any discomfort.

Most of our patients come to us via recommendations from other patients. Please see our Google Reviews for Osteopath Coulsdon and Osteopath Farnham Clinics. We’re open Monday through Friday, with evening appointments available.

Osteopathy does not limit itself to treating muscles and joints. We also consider the interrelationships of the body’s other systems when assessing your symptoms. These include the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, digestive, cranial, lymphatic, and immune systems. The body is a whole unit, including the structures and systems. We train to integrate a patient’s case history. Furthermore, we take all the puzzle pieces to diagnose and treat your body as a whole person.

Enjoy Living without Pain again!

We create a treatment plan that includes techniques chosen explicitly for your symptoms. The aim is to restore balance and function to the whole body. I will provide advice and bespoke exercises as part of your treatment. They will also help the body better deal with the problems it is experiencing.

Osteopaths statutorily become regulated primary allied healthcare professionals. All registered osteopaths also follow strict guidelines from our regulatory body (GOSC) and the Institute of Osteopathy guidance. Furthermore, Osteopaths train for 4 or 5 years for an undergraduate degree, including hundreds of hours working in teaching clinics. Continued professional development with ongoing training is an obligatory requirement to maintain the high standards required of a Registered Osteopath. To maintain registration, all osteopaths follow the strict code of conduct under the Osteopath Practice Standards. All osteopaths will also have professional liability and medical malpractice insurance.

As Osteopaths, we also need to maintain our public health responsibilities. Currently, there are no COVID-19 restrictions in the UK. However, we continue to meet the clinic’s elevated level of infection control. All health professionals, including osteopaths, must follow UK public health guidance. This will be their approach to infection control to practice following the Osteopathic Practice Standards.

Please also look at our COVID-19 page for our updated infection control outline. You can also find the practices and what to expect during your visit here.
